Filipino Edge Weapons Seminar

Our guest instructor, Simeon Lao, is an instructor for Filipino Combat Systems and is trained in subsystems of Filipino martial arts such as dumog, panantukan, sikaran and arnis. He especially enjoys the kerambit and the use of the knife in combative application.  During the seminar he will go over the following:
 
- Hubad coordination and dexterity drills used for empty
   hand stick and knife that addresses timing, beat
   acquisition and sensitivity as well as flow
- Hubad empty hand
- Hubad knife
- Knife flow drill used for sensitivity and empty hand
   application against an edged weapon
- Pasa punto drill set demonstration for blade on blade
   application counters and combative application
- Four count single stick break in/out; single stick dynamic
   drill for defensive and offensive initiation on contact,
   this drill teaches timing, force application, flow & control
